The mystic

For much of the summer we have been having punk shows at our home under the name, Squashed Warehouse.  It has been a lot of fun but there have been questions about the origin of the name for the space.

Just outside the door of the "warehouse" is out double pallet compost bin.  Over the summer, we had several butternut and acorn squash plants grow out of the compost.  They became quite large plants and nearly surrounded one side of the building.  Yesterday, I harvested them.

With such an impressive amount of unintentional produce, the mystic of the name grows.
