Day Seven had my mum and I go to the beach! It has been years since I have been to a beach. The Maine beaches are a littler different than a typical beach in the south. There is not nearly as much sand, the sand that is there is a more brown color and the water is as cold as ice.
As a child, my mum and I used to go to the beach often. It was cheap and close by. This time there seemed to be a lot more people than I recall as a child but it was still a fun time. We sat in some chairs we brought for a bit. We walked down the sandy beach and mused about the fact that children do not seem to be phased by the icy waters.
When we left the beach, we drove around the coast looking for food but were unsuccessful. We got all the way back to her house and invited my sister Cait her her daughter Jazaiah to dinner. I had a veggie wrap and some home cut fries.
I stayed with my mum that night. I felt like I had been going all the time since I started my vacation. It was good to have a night to sit and relax.

This makes me want to live near a beach so bad! I haven't even been to the beach this summer. Geez
